Last day of school // これから試験勉強!

to all of you~~
How are you doing?

As for me, it finally arrived!!

The last day of school♪♪(o*゜∇゜)o~♪♪

It was so so much fun!!
But the week up till were super extremely mega busy. hahaha.

One of the things that made me busy was sewing my costume!
Because in Denmark, almost everyone dresses up in funny costumes for their last day of school
(づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

AND HERE IT IS:

It's all homemade! (except for wigs, shoes and tights, haha).

We even bought circle lenses in the right colors.
Look, my eyes are pink!

It was really fun dressing up and running around... We were really proud of our costumes(*^^

Anyway, now I have exams for the next 5 weeks. Then I'll finally graduate!
if I pass, that is..T^T

So, wish me luck!!

Until then, you all keep being awesome, k?

So sorry... // ごめーん!!

Soo...

I'm terribly sorry it once again has been forever since my last update.

But well...

I've got 10 days of school left until my exams start, and of course we have a bazillion assignments leading up to our final grades (In Denmark we don't have exams in all of our subjects, so we get "yearly grades" in the subjects we won't take exams in), and it's a war pulling myself together to do them and do them properly, because I'm so royally fed up with everything school related... urgh.

Anyhow, that's why I haven't been updating. I'm just waiting for school to end.

here, have a super cute pic of me with my big bro and my niece. haha!

Okarie is graduating POPTEEN // おかりえちゃんがポップを卒業する!

I just found something sad....

Okarie is graduating from Popteen as of this May!

This video was uploaded on the PopTeenTV channel today:

So I guess that's it!
I am looking forward to seeing what she'll be doing from now one. I surely hope I can keep looking at her pretty face somewhere!

Okarie is (was?) one of my top favorite models!
Who's yours?

[JAPAN 2012] Getting my hair done in Shibuya // 渋谷でエクステ☆

How're ya all doin'?

So today I decided to do a post about Japan again.

I'll tell you about when I had my hair done in Shibuya! (´⊙ω⊙`)

I went to a salon called "hair space COCO" in Shibuya. I found it through "HOT PEPPER BEAUTY", a Japanese beauty magazine (both off and online) that has a lot of offers (coupons) to different hair- or nail salons.

I ordered a hairdye and extensions for about 10,000 yen (about 100 USD). The staff was super nice and efficient. The dye and the extensions were done by different people, and because the dyeing took a long time - like almost 2 hours - I figured I'd be spending most of the day in the salon, because surely, doing the extensions would take a lot longer.

Yes?

No.

Dead wrong.

I tell you,

I had a full head of extensions (about 70) done, braided, and it took less than 30 minutes. I was like "wtf" when she was done. I had it done by the skinniest person on this planet, I'm sure. She looked like she'd break from the sheer impact of walking. щ(ºДºщ)

Anyways, the extensions turned out great!
These puri's are taken about 1 hour after getting them done:

And I washed and dried and straightened and curled and treated my hair just like I would've done with my own (using treatment once a week and sleeping with braids, not using a dryer to dry) and they looked perfectly fine when I had them taken out almost 4 months later, only because my hair had grown long enough for the braids to be ridiculously visible.

If you ever want to have your hair done in Japan, I highly recommend this salon!
I had them set my hair for the gyaru meet later the same week, and it looked fab as well. Sadly, humidity kills all nice hair.

The salon is located in central Shibuya, walking from Shibuya 109 towards 109MENS, when you reach the crosswalk with LUMINE on your right and the Disney Store up the street on your left, walk up until you get to Forever21 and LOFT. It's right beside LOFT, on the 5th floor.
I have no idea if they speak English though, and I kinda doubt it... ^^''

That's it for this time!
Hope you have a great Easter

Outfits // 最近のコーデ

The other day I got my hands on a better version of Photoshop, and playing with it, I figured I might as well make some stuff for the blog. So I did some greeting-thingies!
Whatcha think, aren't they cute? :D
I also finally fixed the "about me" and "contact" pages. I feel so creative!

Today's post will be....

AWWW LOOK IT'S HELLO KITTY!

... but not from today, just two from this week:

the dress is from Rose Fan Fan. Originally wanted to sell it, but actually think it looks decent. Do you like it?

blue shirt is from Liz Lisa - black t-shirt from Ank Rouge - skirt from Vero Moda - tights is Forever21
What do you think?
I don't know if the more rock-ish style like the first one, or the cuter one like the second one is best. I keep changing my style at least twice a week!

It's like I'm only 20 years old and I already have a style crisis (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ
Do you have any tips for that?

Well, that's it for this time!
Take care you all!

ps. wow it's so much more fun blogging when I can put all this cute stuff everywhere(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

Lief... nah. // 書く内容ないっす

Hello all you angelfaced people.

So, it's been a week since my last update. And I've been thinking about updating a lot, but problem is, that I really have nothing to talk about.

Lately, my only thought about stuff is

Which doesn't make for very interesting posts.

I think I am simply just not meant for blogging.
It's like.. I look at other people's blogs and I'm like "this is cool" and "this is pretty legit" until I realize that they're usually just talking about their toes  or their pet penguins imploding. I mean.... they lead just as uninteresting lives as I do.

They just have the gift of conveying everyday boredom in a way that makes it seem intriguing.
So while they are all awesome bloggers I'm just either throwing them papers or going like

because I can't convey my boring shit as awesomely as they can.

Anyhow, that is.... why I am not writing anything interesting.

So....

Have a nice day, I s'pose?

Promnight!

Hello guys!

Did you have a great week?

Mine was... uhm... different. Because of my foot I stayed home from school on Monday, and on Tuesday I ran around on crutches. It was very much not elegant and I swear, walking on crutches must be the no. 1 workout of the WORLD. Especially if your crutches actually don't fit your height, so you end up walking wrongly, lifting yourself off the ground way higher than you ought to.

What? Nooo, that didn't happen to me.
OK, maybe it did.

Anyway, miraculously my foot has bettered extremely quickly, and I was able to attend prom yesterday evening with no crutches and even in heels!

I LOVED my dress, hurhur, it was so pretty.
I'm sorry about the bad picture, buut that's the only one we got. Credits to my mom's fantastic photographic abilities...

Have you guys ever had prom at your school? If yes, what's it like in your country/your school??

Here we have dinner with everyone in class and their parents and boy-/girlfriends, whoever they invite, and then we dance Les Lanciers. It's an old formal dance, and it's really hard, haha, and all the girls are scared to death fearing they'll trip in their long dresses. Everybody dresses up like crazy haha!
Afterwards we all went to a Casino which... was a real waste of money. Casinos are meant to be in Vegas after all!

Hanging out!

Hi guise!

Long time no see, aye?
Yeah. More the rule than the exception with me, I know.
And I say that in practically every entry, I know.
sorreh...

This weekend I spent with my online-name-twin-(lol)-Sayamin!
(she's the prettyface behind www.littlemisscawaii.com in case you care)

We haven't seen each other in ages, so we had a lot of chilling to do. For some reason life just seems to happen in the most annoying way whenever we make our schedules match to hang out.

Living like 3-4 hours apart doesn't help much either.

This is the only picture she let me take, and she's probably going to kill me for putting this up here. But hey, cute needs sharing.

And I'm a mean person.

ANYWAY,

We had a lot of fun!
I tried her great wigs to find out how I look blonde, and though I already doubted it'd suit me, it was even worse than expected, so I'm sticking with the dark! haha.

She also did my nails. We spent like... 1,5 days doing them, but it was really nice having time to chat.

And on my way home, I sprained my ankle.

Right before prom on Friday and all!

Cross your fingers for me being able to dance on Friday :c

Anyhow, that's it for now!
I'll go back to being all handicapped and on crutches and all.

Take care!!

Present from Japan!

Allright.

So you know how I'm having all sorts of cravings and eating all sorts of nasty things lately, right?

Well, today this arrived:

(I wanted to watermark this, but my editing program was clearly having PMS)

And I wonder why I can't start eating healthily again.

I mean,

this is a box of ALL SORTS of New Years candies that a friend in Japan sent me. It has everything from pizza- or salad-flavored potato chips to traditional and kinako (roasted soybean flour it's really good, I swear!) ricecakes and "granny-candies", "deco-pocky" and beautiful chocolates.

In other words, it's one big box of sin.
Very tasty sin.

WELL,
I am undoubtedly ridiculously happy to receive this, but it's going to require for me to run a marathon or two to get through it.

Oh, yeah, and it also had instant ramen.
I mean, BANZAI.

Anyway, better get back to my homework...

Hope you have a great weekend!

Three things

Hello to all of you!

SO, the weekend is approaching. How are you going to spend it?

I'll spend it doing homework. And cleaning my room. And possibly eating more of all the gross stuff I've been stuffing myself with lately. Yummy!
I need to figure out a way to quit. Anyone who knows a way to quit yummy stuff?
No?
Thought so.

Speaking of yummy.

This face has a problem.

Yup, you got that right.

It's my face.

And no, even though I appreciate you wanting to point it out for me - what a generous being you are!  - it's not my face itself that has a problem (at least I hope not).

My problem is cravings.

We all have them from time to time, and now, because I am a generous person as well (oh my! we match!) I want to share some of my cravings with you!

1. ZERO CALORIE JELLY .:. ゼリーでゼロ

oh god. this.
It's just like... jelly ...
but it's so good.

It comes in different flavors, all very sweet. I had it for breakfast a few times, and I swear, it's ridiculously good. I suffer from cravings for these very often, but they seem unobtainable outside of Japan.
They come in versions that have and don't have calories, apparently, but the ones with no calories taste just as freakishly awesome as the ones with. This will forever be my really synthetic, dirty pleasure.

2. REALLY GREAT NOMS

This particular noms is from a restaurant that me and my bff visited in Shibuya. We went there twice and had this dish both times. It's like..... omurice, pasta, korokke (like cream-filled potato-thingies. They're good, okay?) and salad and some really good sauce-thing.
OK, honestly, I don't really care what it is, I just want it, and I want it right now.

Funny story about the restaurant (OK, maybe it's more... sad):
First time we went, there was a REALLY cute guy in there too, eating with his friend. He was sitting a few tables away from us, and when I strategically pretended to be checking my beautiful face in the mirror, I could spy on him over my friend's shoulder. He looked like an idol, and a hot one at that.

Yes, he totally knew we were spying on him.
But he was really good-looking, I swear.

We waited outside the restaurant for about an hour for him to come down after we left, because I regretted chickening out on talking to him.
We're kind of desperate....

3. PARFAIT .:. パッフェ

As sad as it might make you, one can't buy parfaits in Denmark.
I know, it makes you want to cry.

It makes me want to cry after trying Japanese parfait.
Because dang, that thing is tasty.
I had a billion parfaits.
I blame my significant weight-gain while in Japan on this.
But it was so worth it.

Right now when I'm having these cravings for food and things I can't have, I kind of just drown in my own self-pity. Anyone who recognizes this, or should I just shut up now?

THANKS FOR READING
& TAKE CARE!!

holy shat + 成人の日

OH GOD HERE SHE IS UPDATING ALREADY!

oh yeah.

It's because two things happened today.

One was this:

This is my happy face when I go to school in the morning.
I swear, this is when I look the happiest. And possibly the wettest.

That's not a word, I know.

It snowed like crazy this morning. It was like the world suddenly decided everyone should try being blind for a while, because it didn't matter whether one was staring at the ground or trying to look where they walked. If you looked down, your face might be saved from being completely covered in snow within 0.001 second, and if you looked up, you would just be hit by...... well .... snow in 0.001 second (bet you didn't see that one coming, huh!). It was crazy, and admitted, kind of fun. But next time I'm going to build a snowman, I'll give him an umbrella, just because I will now feel awfully sorry for him if he has to stay outside in a weather like that.

Apart from that,

it apparently snowed in Tokyo too, because my facebook was swamped with people I know from there going crazy with "FIRST SNOW OF THE YEAR"

followed by

"WHY TODAY"
"OMG NO"
"IT CANNOT BE"
"MY DAY IS RUINED"

because I don't know if you guys know, but today is

*・゚。:.*:Seijin no hi 成人の日:*・゚。:.*

which would translate into .... uh ... "coming off age-day"
It sounds way less goofy in Japanese. In English it just makes me think of tests of manhood.
In reality, it's like this:

This is the day where guys are screwed over, because look how darn beautiful these girls look in their flawless kimonos.

I mean, this is one day where every 20-year old Japanese girl must feel like the princess she is.

Seijinshiki (Coming off age ceremony) is held for 20 year olds, as explained ever so gracefully by Wikipedia:

"It is held in order to congratulate and encourage all those who have reached the age of majority (20 years old) over the past year, and to help them realize that they have become adults."

I've never been fortunate enough to witness Seijin no Hi myself as I left Japan like ... the day before Seijin no Hi (no kidding) back in 2009 and haven't been there during January since. But my Facebook and Twitter has been drowning in pictures of all of my beautiful friends who look stunning in their respective kimonos. I hope they felt special today.

新成人、おめでとう!!
これから大人としての生活も頑張ってくださいねー☆
(Congratulations with coming of age! Please do your best at living as an adult!)

is what I want to tell all my friends.
Now I'll go cry in a corner because I can't wear awesome kimonos.

That's it for today!

Take care!!!

2013, hello to you and hello to God knows which try at this blog!

HI EVERYONE.

...

anyone....?

hello....?

OK, I wouldn't come back to a haunted house either, but hey. I'm just a quadroupled ghost, not a zombie. Not yet.

Anyone still with me?

Okay, seriously. I am going to nominate myself for a suckiest-blogger-of-the-year award. Does such a thing exist? If it does, I'm taking the no. 1 home with me.

Okay, to be honest, I really neglect this blog. And it's a shame, because I really appreciate the followers I have, and I am baffled that you actually follow me. I mean, that must mean you just kind-of am interested in the random ... ok, keeping this clean ... stuff that I babble about on here.

I feel like it's such a shame if I don't update on here regularly, and I suppose I won't ever find the style of blogging that I so long to have if I, well, don't blog.
So here I will give it a new try, and this time I'll treat this kind of like I treat my ameba blog - really random. I will from now on reveal to you that the pictures I post on here are few of a thousand, where the 999 rest I look much less flattering, I will reveal to you that my hobby is sarcastically telling people how much I want to burn down my school, and that it's not only my blog I fail to follow up on.
Please, do stay tuned. This blog is about to change. (this is the part where you'd want a drumroll)

I think.

UPCOMING less random POSTS:

  • visit from Tokyo
  • AnCafe in London
  • shit, I don't even want to promise anymore than two posts!

Take care!
(I still haven't edited my signature-thingey to match the background color.. /fails miserably)
